SARS-CoV-2, the virus responsible for COVID-19, is an enveloped, non-segmented, single-stranded positive-sense RNA (+ssRNA) virus and a newly identified β-coronavirus.- We use fully validated test kits and the same RT-PCR technology used in Human Diagnostic Testing ensure quality results
- Similar to nasal swabs, our tests rely on RT-PCR methodlogy that detect the virus’s genetic material
